The Concord Holiday House Tour is a highly-anticipated tradition in our historic town. In years gone by, literary notables such as Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Louisa May Alcott, and Henry David Thoreau enjoyed natural decorations–wreaths hung on the wall and garlands of dried flowers, vines and herbs draped over the mantle.
The tradition of holiday decorations continues!
The 2017 Concord Holiday House Tour is Saturday, December 2, 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Seven of Concord’s most beautiful homes will be professionally decorated by local and Boston-based designers and welcoming visitors in to enjoy the beauty of the season. Included in Concord’s 2017 Holiday House Tour is the Barrett Farm House at Minute Man National Historical Park and the Thoreau-Alcott House.
This year, Copper Penny Flowers will be decorating a tour home in concert with interior designer Aura Bruce and Concord’s home-furnishing store Comina. Past Concord Holiday House Tours inspired the CPF design team to fill birch logs with amaryllis and orchids, decorate tables with Christmas presents wrapped in flowers, and deck the halls in pine boughs laced with silver bead garlands and dancing snowflakes.
Join in the festivities this year and see what Copper Penny Flowers and the other Concord Holiday House Tour designers have in store for holidays 2017!
